Checklist per customer
Allow for a digital checklist that can be edited with the app and sent to the customer. Being eco friendly, the idea of leaving paper checklists behind goes against our branding.

this is something I've been wanting! To make it even better it would be so helpful if when we schedule a walk through it can be scheduled that way verse an appointment! once we get there we click on their name, the check list pops up, click what they need, and it automatically turns into an invoice and/or contract. This is one thing I've been wanting from the very start f my business!!

I love this idea! A check list that the cleaning techs can view and check off each item completed and the client can go in a view the checklist! This is perfect and a great way to eliminate printing out checklist and basically leaving trash at the clients house!

I love the idea! Taking it one step further, I’d like to have the same checklist made available to the client (optional, of course). That way the client can see exactly what should be done and can verify that things were or were not done. Would help to mitigate customer service issues before they even happen.

I'm a little bit heartbroken, and also a little shocked to hear this is not a part of this software, it is one of the most important parts of running our business and is unfortunately the reason I still can not move ahead with using Zenmaid. I'm absolutely devastated, just when I thought I had found the perfect software :( Wondering if there is a work around to this?

Yes we are currently printing out checklists for our cleaners to use and they leave them for the homeowner after each visit and send us a picture of the completed lists. Would be great to have this integrated into Zenmaid

Everyone has a different tone when speaking and we each of our own idea of what constitutes a clean. I would prefer to be able to upload the check list myself signed off by the client onto the automated emails we send them. We already do this with the T and Cs attached to all emails.?

I have been working on this myself. And the only thing so far thats worked is a pdf on a tablet using a drawing edit feature and physically writing a checkmark then saving it as an image. Issue with this is it doesn't look polished. I even tried using click up with Zapier and the formatting was very wonky and didn't make any sense. I have a few other things I am researching but even open as app site wont allow for this. Amar! You have a huge opportunity here!

Shannon Allen: Lots of things. You see us making updates every week ;-) Right now we're working on our free plan among quite a few other things. This feature specifically is not a simple one for us to build and we take that into consideration when choosing what to work on

It would be awesome if there was a checklist popping up when team hits checks out from the property , tick all required fileds and continue to checkout . (if you could add tasks from the same list of customizable tasks,and team just tick a box next to it - would be awesome :) environmentally friendly too

I'd like this option as well! When my clients sign up for service they are sent a service agreement that includes a checklist so their expectations are understood. This custom service agreement is created in jotform.com. It would be nice to at least have this integrated or make this an option. I currently screenshot the checklist and text it to the cleaner (especially since picture uploads isn't an option on here either).

I currently use half sheets, double sided, on recycled paper...but would LOVE a digital checklist and so would my clients (actual client feedback).

Chrissy N Palmer: We have not decided to move forward with it hence it being 'under review' and not 'in progress' - we don't know how long it will take to do and figuring out that answer requires a variety of decisions we are not prepared to make yet. If you've been following us you've seen us actively improving many, many things in the software, this just has not made the list yet :-)

We're using carbon copy checklists that we leave behind and then I have to scan and upload each list to the customer account. This would save me a ton of time!

This is a great way of both getting better quality consistent cleanings and touch points with the customer. It also clarifies expectations and allows customers to see real time add on services (a la cart) if desired

Combined with the request for photo uploads of jobs, this could be a massive boost in customer touch points without coming off as "spam". Allows the customers to see what's been done, thus driving the value message, as well as allowing owners to ensure quality standards are being met.
