This is such a needed feature! With 15 employees, knowing when they all have days off is so frustrating. It'd be a dream to be able to put it on the backend.

YESSSS! That would help a lot, subcontractors could manage their availability, that way I don´t have to ask them if they or available, also would be nice if they could see all unassigned appointments, and grab them.
It would be nice if the cleaners could see all of the jobs being performed in case cleaners wanted to swap shifts or someone calla out we can fill it by asking employees who wants the hours.

Same here - not having this function means I have to make a note on another spreadsheet of when people are available and then cross reference and would mean we can't schedule directly onto zenmaid and see who's available when someone books online. Would definitely be a good consideration to make the process more streamlined. I only fully uploaded everything yesterday and already nearly booked someone in for a time when they don't work so I feel this might crop up more often without the option to block off unavailability.
This would also suit me too. Not all cleaners have the same availability and so it would be nice to know who is available/unavailable
I agree I would love this as well, right now I have to book them for the whole day of day off when they are not able to work and it’s kind of a pain, you should be able to make an availability in the back office portion and the calendar knows so if you try to assign someone it pops up that that person is not available that day or time
What we did was create a customer named "Unavailable Time Off" with an address of "123 Not Working, City, zip. When someone needs off we'll schedule them for that day under this "customer". So when we look at the schedule it will show up along with the initials for the cleaner and we'll know they're off that day. I suppose if more than one person were off that day, we'd schedule them at different times of the day for the same "customer". : )
Gloria Paul: The issue with this as the time off appointment counts as "appointments per month" which then gives an inaccurate count of appointments for that month and the appointment will appear in payroll with a nominal pay amount.
