Hourly rates and travel
Each employee file to have an hourly base rate while simultaneously a varying pay rate based on specific customers.
(similar to Deputy software under area of work, you can type in a customer name in the employee hourly rate section on their file and specify the specific hourly rate for that job)
This avoids alot of payroll editing.
In loop with this, an hourly rate when setting up each customer file provides an instant invoice ready to send once shift has ended, once you have assigned a staff member, it could show your profit in a private section, so you know exactly how much you are making off each specific job.
I run a cleaning business and my employees get travel allowance. I would love to have the km's calculated and automatically added to each payroll run too.
