It seems we can only schedule an email reminder to go out the day before. Is there a way we can schedule two reminders? E.g., the day before and three days before?

Yes please, I have to deal with customers who forget the date! Sending more than one reminder would be very useful, for example the first reminder on the day of the cleaning, and another one two days before the next cleaning.
