This is not something we're going to do as it's just too far outside our area of expertise. Plenty of great tools are focused on doing exactly this for your business and we recommend them (Slack, GroupMe, etc)
YES! We currently have to use google drive for notes but everyone forgets to check it. Not job notes... but things like announcements... team meeting notes... we have a weekly focus note... just things we want all employees to read.
This would be so helpful!
Be great where one job is shared amongst many
Great Idea.
I think its a great idea. I am currently looking at using clicksend so my supervisor can send texts to customers and it masks her personal number. Employees are not allowed to text with clients for this reason. I need the communication to be in company only.
I like the idea of employees and managers/ teams being able to communicate. But I'm not sure how I feel about clients communicating with cleaners. I think it would be to much to monitor and request/complaints should come through the office to make sure the ball isn't dropped on anything and the cleaner doesn't over look a msg or something.
Great idea
I believe this could be good, however would messaging app be system wide, for example like all teams can see the 1 message, or would it be messages between team members allocated to a specific job? I think its not necessary that all team members see all messages, if its not related to their specific job, it could just end up taking up their time to check these messages when they should be cleaning.... and also we have a 'no phone while doing the clean' rule, so this would also look bad to the client if they see the cleaner using phones for messages while they should be cleaning.... not sure id go down the line of using this feature?
I also agree with this because when a client and cleaner need to communicate it should be in a safe environment where their communication is recorded, can be accessed by office personnel for context during disagreements etc. Personal numbers for either should not be available to the client nor the employee.
(To be clear, we think this is a great idea, but not one we are the best team to execute on)
