Unassign and color code cancelled appointments

It would be excellent if cleaners were automatically removed/unassigned from the calendar when an appointment's status is set to "cancelled". I still want any recurring appointments to show up (even when cancelled) so I don't end up creating a future schedule conflict, so I currently have to mark the appointment as cancelled, then assign a team I created named "cancelled" to color code the appointment so I can actually see that it's not happening. There's probably currently a better way to handle this, but I don't know it. And twice in the last month I've ended up with problems because of it. Seems like the simplest is for Zenmaid to automatically remove all assigned staff and color code any appointment with the status "cancelled". Thanks!

We plan on making it more clear via coloring/other signaling which appointments have been cancelled and which are still active which will hopefully resolve this issue for you. I can say with absolute certainty that we will not be automatically removing assigned employees - that's information that should remain on these appointments and if not, it isn't something we (the software) should be deciding for any of our customers

Amar Ghose: Understood. I could see something like an override or overlay working where we can see appointment status on top of team color coding. Could one of your team please reach out to me about how we can better handle this in the meantime? My current system described above is problematic. Thanks Amar.
